Crafted with care in Fender’s esteemed Custom Shop, this 1997 American Classic Stratocaster blends vintage-inspired tone and feel with refined modern appointments. This model pays homage to the timeless Stratocaster design while subtly elevating playability and versatility.
The comfortable modern “C” neck profile and maple neck that offers smooth, fast play. The maple fretboard—features a 9.5” radius and medium jumbo frets for easier bends and modern expression.
Under the hood, this American Classic comes loaded with Custom Shop single-coil pickups, offering classic Strat sparkle and clarity with a slightly hotter output for more punch. The five-way selector switch gives access to a full range of tonal colors, from bell-like cleans to expressive bluesy tones.
There is no fret wear and weighs 7.9 lbs. Includes a non-original gigbag.
